Worked out in the End...
I too was one of those who was very disappointed when I couldn't get the tickets I wanted when the pre-sale opened up for the Boston shows; it was so frustrating being able to hold those tickets but not being able to buy them because my address was Canadian; I tried contacting TIcketmaster but they told me it wasn't going to happen... but at least I got to buy some after the public on-sale started, a lot farther back than I was hoping for but at least I'll still get to see him live for my very first time!! Thanks for correcting it anyway! It's good to see that personal touch! |

Thank you
Thanks. This just goes to show that you guys really do care about the fans. AND, I really love how each ticket purchased online comes with the new album when it comes out this spring as well as the live tracks Tom and the boys will be recording on the road this summer. Ticket prices may be a little higher, but I play in a band and know putting on shows ain't cheap - this just goes to show that TOm and crew really want to give as much to the fans as possible. Screw those few negative comments! |

Presale A vs Presale B
Are you aware of people in group B purchasing tickets during the group A sale. That makes me mad! |

I have wasted 2 nights trying to get a password to get tickets to The Gorge in Washington. I was trying to spend around $300 to see Tom Petty for the first time in a long time but you know what? Who gives a crap, it's all about the money now; when I saw Tom Petty years ago he opened for J Geils at the Paramount in Seattle and was trying to build a fan base which I encouraged my friends to be a part of by playing his record at parties and recomending him.Now that you are Mr.Big Stuff just go ahead and piss off one of the people that put you where you are, thanks a lot!
